WHITE CHRISTMAS MARTINI

INGREDIENTS
  • 2 ounces vanilla vodka
  • 2 ounce white chocolate liqueur
  • 1 ounce white creme de cacao
  • 1 ounce half-and-half
  • Honey and coarse sanding sugar for rim garnish
INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Pour the honey into a shallow dish and put the sanding sugar in another shallow dish. Coat the rim of the glass in the honey; then dip the rim in the sugar to coat evenly. Set the glass aside.
  2. In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, add the vodka, white chocolate liqueur, creme de cacao, and half-and-half. Shake vigorously and strain into the prepared martini glass.

CRANBERRY BOURBON COCKTAIL

2 ounces bourbon
2 ounces cranberry juice (100% juice, unsweetened)
1/2 ounce rosemary sage simple syrup*
Splash of lemon juice, freshly squeezed
Fresh rosemary and sage for garnish

In a glass filled with ice, add the bourbon, cranberry juice, rosemary sage simple syrup, and a splash of lemon juice. Stir to combine.

*Rosemary Sage Simple Syrup: In a medium saucepan, combine one cup of sugar and one cup of water. Toss in a couple sprigs each of fresh rosemary and sage. Bring to a boil, stirring until the sugar has dissolved. This will take 5-8 minutes. Strain the herbs from the simple syrup and allow it to cool completely before using.

Chocolate Martini Cocktail

“This liquid dessert combines chocolate-flavored liqueurs with vodka and half-and-half for a boozy and decadent drink.”

Squeeze a little chocolate syrup into martini glasses and set aside.  Combine chocolate liqueur, creme de cacao, vodka, half-and-half, and ice in a cocktail shaker. Cover and shake until chilled. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.  Sprinkle chocolate shavings on top.  Enjoy!!

Caramel Apple Martini

Ingredients

  • 1 oz. Baileys Irish cream
  • 1/2 oz. apple schnapps
  • 1/2 oz. butterscotch schnapps
  • 2 oz. half-and-half or whole milk
  • coarse sugar
  • ground cinnamon

Instructions

1: Rim glass with coarse sugar mixed with cinnamon.
2: For each cocktail, pour all ingredients into a drink shaker.  Fill shaker with ice then shake and strain cocktail into a chilled glass, with or without ice. Garnish with a very small sprinkle of cinnamon & thin apple wedge.

PEACH LEMON DROP

A lemon drop is a vodka-based cocktail that has a lemony, sweet and sour flavor, prepared using lemon juice, triple sec and simple syrup. It has been described as a variant of, or as “a take on”, the Vodka Martini. It is typically prepared and served straight up – chilled with ice and strained.  Add a teaspoon of peach syrup and voila!!

COSMOPOLITAN

A cosmopolitan, or informally a cosmo, is a cocktail made with vodka, triple sec, cranberry juice, and freshly squeezed or sweetened lime juice.  It’s refreshing on a hot summer day.

La Provence – Lake Oswego:

La Provence has small portions and a limited menu for happy hour BUT all of the items are very good.  Order some bread and a HH cocktail to make the meal perfect.  Friendly staff and oodles of pastries for dessert.  Bon appetit!!
